Iyengar class poses are typically held much longer than in other schools of yoga, so that practitioners can pay close attention to the precise muscular and skeletal alignment this system demands. Props may be used, including belts, chairs, blocks, and blankets, to help accommodate any special needs such as injuries or structural imbalances.
One-to-One Private Yoga Instruction
Your practice can always benefit from individual instruction and personalized attention. Adam will work with you to address alignment, specialized exercises, and assignments tailored to your personal history and body. After each session, you will receive a write-up detailing exercises and poses explored that day as well as assignments for the coming week. All equipment and materials provided at Adam's private studio. Sessions can be brought to your home for an additional cost.
